Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 10-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Authors are required to prepare their manuscripts in accordance with the journal's Author Guidelines before submission. Manuscripts should follow the journal's prescribed structure, formatting, referencing style, and publication ethics requirements.

Authors should use the journal's manuscript template when preparing their submissions. Authors are also strongly encouraged to refer to the latest published issue of the journal as a practical reference for manuscript structure, formatting, presentation of tables and figures, citation style, and overall article layout.

Before submitting a manuscript, the Corresponding Author must register an account on the journal's online submission system if they do not already have one. Authors who have previously registered with this journal should use their existing account rather than creating a new account.

Authors should also review the Author Fees information to understand the applicable publication fees and payment requirements before submitting a manuscript.

Authors are encouraged to carefully review the complete Author Guidelines, manuscript template, and latest published articles before submission. Submissions that do not comply with the journal's requirements may be returned to the authors for revision before entering the editorial and peer-review process.
